No longer a pushover (Noelle and Cedric)

Noelle and Cedric Chapter 45

Noelle wondered if Lucas' actions could even be considered an apology. That was clearly Lucas' way of forcing Noelle to accept everything that he had arranged.

Lucas' heart immediately dropped when he saw Noelle's cold expression. His confident facade immediately crumbled. He had thought that Noelle would surely understand his sincerity after the lengths he had gone to apologize to her.

He had never humbled himself like this to anyone in his entire life-Noelle was the first!

Xenia took the opportunity to say, "That's right. Noelle, Lucas has prepared an apology banquet for you today. I'm sure you can see how sincere he is and how much effort he has put into making things right with you."

Lucas said uncomfortably, "Noelle, you can request anything of me. I'll fulfill them for you."

Noelle raised her eyebrow and said sarcastically, "I have one simple request."

"Which is?" Lucas sighed in relief. As long as Noelle would raise a request, she was willing to forgive him. He knew that Noelle was just throwing a tantrum because she felt that he favored Xenia more. Once the whole fiasco was over, he would definitely find a chance to teach her a

lesson.

"From today onward, I don't want you to appear before me anymore. I also don't want you to take it upon yourself to make these decisions for me."

Lucas' expression immediately tensed as he felt his mind go blank. Then, Noelle turned to leave without hesitation.

As she left the training camp, she was met with the heat. She found the summer heat to be annoying.

Lucas chased behind her. Then, he looked at her solemnly and said sincerely, "Noelle, what do you want me to do to gain your forgiveness? Just say the word, and I'll do it."

Noelle had finally lost her last shred of patience. "Did you not understand what I just said? Maybe you should go back to school and start over with your education."

Lucas could not believe that Noelle would be so heartless. "Noelle, we've been very close since we were kids. Are you really planning to hold this against me forever?

"Are you really never going to see me as your brother for the rest of your life just because of one impulsive mistake I've made?"

Noelle only found the situation ridiculous. Was it really just that one mistake?

Lucas still had not figured out the reason behind her departure from the Liddell family. However, she was not obligated to explain anything to him. She did not want to look back and compromise herself anymore. Noelle's gaze was cold as she said, "You can believe what you want to."

Lucas seemed to have been defeated, his eyes filled with shock and disbelief. He could not believe that Noelle did not see him as her brother anymore.

Xenia quickly rushed up and stood before Noelle. "Noelle, this entire incident was my fault. I am the cause of everything. I'll move out of the Liddell residence today, and you'll never have to see me again."

all for your care Xenia turned to look at Lucas through teary eyes and said, "Lucas, thank you toward me throughout the years. I am extremely grateful for all that you've done."

Lucas subconsciously reached out to grab Xenia's hand. "What are you doing? This has nothing to do with you. This is between Noelle and me."

"No, you don't understand the situation, Lucas. It has everything to do with me, so I must bear the responsibility!"

Xenia shook her head, and her teary eyes made his heart melt. He couldn't help but sigh and say, "Noelle, why can't you just be as understanding as Xenia?"

Noelle raised her eyebrow and said sarcastically, "If that's the case, then isn't she enough for you? Stop bugging me."

Lucas retorted, "Noelle, you keep saying that we're biased toward Xenia, but have you ever stopped and just reflected on your own behavior? People respond to kindness. If you were more understanding, things wouldn't have come to this." Noelle said, "So keeping our distance is the best solution for all of us." She immediately walked out onto the road. It was empty, and there were barely any cars around. She just wanted to leave that place.noveldrama

However, Lucas stood before her and exclaimed, "I think we should just talk and clear things up!"

The sharp sound of a car horn pierced the air. Lucas turned and saw a black luxury car speeding toward them at full speed, showing no signs of slowing down.

"Lucas, be careful!"
