Miriam's face twisted with disdain. "Does a kidney cost that much? Are they really that greedy? Besides, they're your sons. They should do whatever you tell them to! Asking one of them to give Ruth a kidney is already a privilege for them. They're from the countryside how could they ever compare to Ruth?

"The reporters I brought in today will definitely help us. Soon, they won't have a choice but to agree. We might not even have to pay them a dime. Plus, there's a family mediation show reaching out to us.

"When that happens, don't agree to anything right away. Make them undergo full medical exams first. I don't want Ruth to end up with a defective kidney."

Finn nodded repeatedly. "Of course. I'll do whatever you say. As long as it helps Ruth, I'm all in. For now, let's rest. That press conference was exhausting."
