Matthew felt that each sector of traditional medicine had its merits. On top of that, they were all vastly different from each other, like the Gugleni Sect and the Frostbloom Sect.

The Gugleni Sect believed that people started expending energy since birth. As long as they replenished their energy, they would be able to live for a long time, but that was hard to do.

People were usually hot-tempered. Some of them were so hot-tempered that they would hurt their bodies and shorten their own lifespans.

The Frostbloom Sect believed that the body was a single unit. Every organ worked in harmony with each other, and diseases affected all areas of the body. Any treatment involved taking the whole body into consideration.

The Medieval Aureate Sect was different, too. It believed in a more concrete approach, basing its research on years of experience with treatments.

Every sector held some sort of golden nugget of wisdom about the world of medicine. They could all be used to save lives.

Matthew really wanted to find out what would happen if he researched all eight sectors of traditional medicine.

As he pondered this, there were sudden footsteps at the door. He thought it was Silas, so he got up to answer it. The moment he stepped out, he stopped.

It was Florian. He had brought a dozen or so people with him as well.

When Florian saw him, he ordered the men behind him, "That's him! He even dared to say that he would kill me. You can't let him get away, Mr. Miller. Destroy him!

Alex's eyes grew wide as he looked at Matthew. He seemed to ignore everything that Florian had said.

After a stunned silence, he asked, "Why are you here?"

Matthew looked at Alex coldly. He hadn't been expecting Florian to bring Alex over.

Alex's uncle, Marty, was the manager at Opulent Club. He had already been berated by Marty once. So when Alex had seen Matthew afterward, he had insisted on being his driver. Matthew had let him do it for two days before dismissing him. It was a surprise to run into him here.

Matthew folded his arms, letting the drama unfold.

When Florian realized that they knew each other, his cries grew even louder. "He's not greeting you even though he knows you, Mr. Miller. He obviously doesn't care about you. You can't let him get away!"

There was a loud smack as Alex whipped his hand across Florian's face. "Shut up, you bastard! Of course he doesn't care about me I'm nothing to him! Are you trying to get me killed? You can offend anyone on Earth except him. Do you know who he is? Do you actually want to die?"

Florian trembled after the slap. He knew Matthew since the latter had founded Evergreen Group. But Matthew was just a self-made entrepreneur. He had no family backing him up. Florian couldn't understand what he had done to warrant this much respect from Alex.

He asked in bewilderment, "Who... who is he?"

Alex wasn't actually sure who Matthew was, either, but he heard from Marty that Matthew was someone mysterious. He definitely wasn't just an ordinary person. He was a great force to be reckoned with. He was far more powerful than even the Millers.

However, Alex couldn't say that he didn't know, So, he kicked Florian to the floor. "You have no right to even know who he is. I only let you be in charge of the administration of this building. Did you somehow think you're the actual owner now?"

Florian's face turned ashen. He'd really done it now. He had no idea what to do.

Alex walked up to Matthew and lowered his head. "I've failed to keep my employees under control, Mr. Grant, and I've caused you distress. You can punish me in any way you want. Please do so!"
