My Four Miraculous Treasures

Jasper wasn't as approachable as Wyatt.

Tyson kept a smile on his face. "I wonder if you could tell me which employee of ours was so infatuated with you. I'm curious to know who it might be."

Wyatt didn't hold back. "Of course. We even added each other on WhatsApp. Look, this is her."

Wyatt handed his phone to Tyson. There was a photo of Rachel's selfie.

Upon seeing her face, Tyson blinked in surprise. "There's something I want to tell you, but I'm not sure if I should."

"Just spill the beans. When did you become so hesitant?" Wyatt took his phone back and was still smiling.

Tyson clenched his fist and placed it in front of his mouth before coughing once. "This woman is Rachel Stone. She was here not long ago to apologize to Mr. Hughes and also to offer money as compensation." Wyatt recalled that was indeed her name. She told him just before she left.

"She offered money to Jasper as compensation? Why?" Wyatt asked out of curiosity.

"That's because her four children destroyed the couch in his office," Tyson said.

Wyatt's smile instantly disappeared. The glimmer in his eyes also went away. "Are you telling me that she's the mother of four children?" Wyatt asked. Tyson nodded.

"Damn! She's a young mother. I'm deleting her from my list!" Just a moment ago, Wyatt found her funny and adorable. However, he immediately blocked her after hearing what Tyson had to say.

"Her husband died young. To be honest, you can..." Tyson added meekly.

"There's no way I'd even consider that. I hate the idea of being a stepfather." Before Tyson could finish his sentence, Wyatt cut him off.

Wyatt had a rule. He would never date a mother, let alone a widow!

He could have any woman he wanted. Why would he fall for a widow?

Wyatt was happy a while ago, but now he was utterly mad. He stormed into Jasper's office.

Tyson watched Wyatt leave before rubbing his nose. Without saying a word, he walked into the elevator to head downstairs.

"Jasper, I've been hurt terribly. You have to drink with me tonight. That's the only way my broken heart can recover." Wyatt pushed through the door and walked up to Jasper's desk. He pressed his palms against the desk and moved his face close to Jasper's. He had a hurt expression on his face. Jasper glanced at him coldly. "Get lost!"noveldrama

Wyatt immediately placed his hands over his chest. "Ouch. That hurt. Jasper, you actually told me to get lost. I feel very hurt."

"Cut to the chase!" Jasper ordered coldly.

Jasper felt ashamed to have a friend like Wyatt who was even more difficult to get rid of than women.

"Can't I find you without having any business to discuss? We haven't drunk together for several days now. Why don't we hang out tonight? See you later?" Wyatt came to invite Jasper to drink.

He said he was hurt only to use it as an excuse.

Jasper signed on the last page of a document before closing it and putting it into a folder.

"Wait until I'm done with work," Jasper replied.

He had been very annoyed for the past few days because of Willow. He too needed to relax a little.

"Alright." Wyatt made his way to the couch and poured himself some tea while he waited for Jasper.
