When Willow arrived at the stairway, she saw Deborah standing diagonally in the walkway.

Willow was about to step forward when she suddenly heard Deborah speaking. "Even if Willow doesn't get fired, there's no chance left for her to make amends. Those rumors have already spread around the office. Even if Mr. Price puts an end to the rumors, every employee in the company has already developed prejudice against Willow. She'll soon become isolated. People will roll their eyes at her. Soon, she'll realize she can no longer stay and voluntarily quit." Willow halted. She did not step forward. Upon hearing this, Willow furiously stepped forward and hastily walked toward Deborah. "Well done, Deborah. It's actually you!"

The person who was talking with Deborah frantically ran down the stairs after hearing the commotion.

Willow could hear the sound of heels tapping on the ground. She quickly ran after the person.

That person was the mastermind behind this entire ordeal. She could not let that person run away.

Unfortunately, Willow was too slow. By the time she reached the corner, the person had already pushed open a safety door and ran down another flight of stairs.

Willow wanted to keep running after that person, but Deborah grabbed her arm. "Willow, what are you doing?"

"Let go of me. You two are colluding against me. I have to tell Mr. Hughes to clear my name!" Willow pushed Deborah's hand away and continued her pursuit.

She pushed the safety door open and stepped onto the corridor. However, the floor was empty. There was not a single person in sight.

That person had already hidden elsewhere.

Despite feeling angry, there was nothing she could do.

The floor below the top floor was where upper management's offices were located. A mere cleaning lady could not possibly search the offices one by one.

Deborah had also arrived. She grabbed Willow by her hand and

pulled her into the elevator. She looked at Willow in a hostile manner. "You're right. I was the one who spread the rumors. I couldn't stand the sight of you. Getting rid of you is my motive."

"Who made you do this? Who was the person you were speaking with?" Willow asked sternly. Willow was determined to find out who set her up.

"What are you talking about? I was alone. There wasn't anybody else there," Deborah said. Willow chuckled. "You're still trying to lie to me. I clearly heard that person running away." "You're out of your mind."

Coincidentally, the elevator stopped on the tenth floor.

Deborah walked out and returned to the cleaning department. Willow followed along.

When they arrived in front of Sean, Willow began to speak. "Mr. Fawcett, hear me out..." "Mr. Fawcett, there's something I've been wanting to tell you." Deborah cut Willow off. Sean looked at Willow and then at Deborah. "What is it? Go ahead."

Willow was stunned. Deborah pulled this trick on her so suddenly that she could not react in time.

Sean glanced at Deborah and then at Willow. "Willow, please go out for a moment. I'd like to speak with Deborah."
