Chapter 410
A group of young men arrived at the entrance of Dustin's villa in West River Institution.
"Excuse me, could you please inform Mr. Dustin that Henry and his friends are here to see him," Henry said respectfully to the servant sweeping the area by the gate.
Even though it was just a cleaner, the men treated him with utmost respect.
They knew full well that even a cleaner here was a ninth grade fighter. They were a figure of prestige in any other part of Grayvale.
"One moment, please," the cleaner said before putting down the broom and heading into the villa.
"Henry? Who's that?" Dustin asked with a frown after he was informed of the visitors.
He was in the middle of explaining a martial arts technique to Tyler.
"Have you forgotten, Mr. Fox? Henry is the leader of the Grayvale's martial aristocracy," Tyler said with a bow.
Only then did Dustin recall him.
Allison had once taken him to confront Grayvale's martial aristocracy in a gambling match, where he had encountered Henry.
Henry had shown some tact and had attempted to suck up to him.
"Let them in," Dustin said indifferently.
Soon, Henry and his friends entered the villa.
"Greetings, Mr. Dustin," they said and bowed respectfully. But as their eyes quickly landed on Tyler, they looked surprised and curious.
Everyone thought that Tyler and Dustin were rivals. Yet here he was at Dustin's side.
Dustin had severed one of his fingers.
"Tyler, what brings you here?" Henry asked.
"Wherever my master is, I will be," Tyler said as he bowed to Dustin.
"What?!"noveldrama
Henry and his group stared in wide-eyed disbelief.
When had Tyler sworn allegiance to Dustin?
Their shock was understandable.
Tyler was once the unrivaled prodigy among the younger generation of Grayvale's martial arts world.
For someone of his prideful nature to bow to anyone of his own age, much less Dustin-whom he had previously clashed with was unthinkable.
"Tyler, you. What happened?" Henry
had trouble comprehending what
was happening. They even suspected that Dustin had forced
Tyler into this.
How else could this be possible?
"I pledged myself willingly," Tyler said coldly.
Henry and his group fell silent. They were unable to fathom what had compelled Tyler to make such a choice.
Their astonished gazes turned to Dustin.
What magic did he have?
A few days ago, the General of the West had mobilized the Western Forces to lay siege on Grayvale That had plunged its onto a panic.
UMS
Everyone had thought that Dustin was doomed.
Yet Dustin had returned unharmed, the Western Forces had quietly withdrawn, and the General of the West had vanished without a trace. Even more astonishing were the events that unfolded at Dustin's villa.
All his servants were at least ninth grade fighters, with some even achieving the sovereign grade.
Such profound resources would be impressive for a top martial family, let alone the surviving descent of a destroyed family.
"So, what brings you here?" Dustin asked calmly.
"Ah... yes..." Only then did Henry remember his reason for paying a visit.
"We heard that you aren't participating in the martial arts competition hosted by Mr. Elijah and the Lotus Sect?" he asked tentatively. "No, I'm not," Dustin said with a nod.
"This competition is expected to be
grand. Word is that many martial arts prodigies from all over Lovellia are traveling great distances to take
part. Wouldn't you consider joining?" Henry said with a smile on his face.
“Wouldn't it be a good opportunity for you to make your mark in the martial world and earn the admiration of the masses?” Dustin raised an eyebrow and chuckled faintly.
“The competition is a child's play,” he said with a soft laugh. “Participating in something so trivial would be beneath me.”
What do you think?
