Billionaire My Husband 8
JESSnoveldrama
Sam and I waited for Laura all night, and we ignored the pool party Josh had going on downstairs. Sam was at the window, looking over at me.
"You know they're totally making out in the pool, right?" she said. "Like Luke and your brother with the two cheerleaders. What the hell? Ar the planning on having an orgy down there?"
I shrugged. "They can do whatever they want as long as it's not in the house and it doesn't keep me up at night."
I tried to be fine with it, but I knew deep down that there was a little hole starting to grow inside me. Why would I think that because Luke offered to take my virginity, it meant he might like me? Of course, he doesn't. It's just a joke to him. Poor little Jess so pathetic she can't get a guy to sleep with her.
I groaned and fell back onto my bed, yanking out my phone.
"Got a text from Laura," Sam said. "She's in an Uber on her way back."
"Do you think they did it?" I asked
Sam shrugged. "I mean, it's a little fast. Not that my first time lasted long anyway...like two minutes max. But a movie is longer than two hours, right?" Laura walked through the front door less than 20 minutes later,

her face red and blotchy from crying. She broke down as soon as she stepped inside. "His girlfriend showed up the blures out between sobs. Luke and Josh walked in just then, and Josh paused, looking at Laura. Was that concern I just say?
"What happened?" he asked, and turned on him. Just go back to your cheerleaders. It's none of your business, I snapped Josh narrowed his eyes and ignored me. Well, clearly, someone made her cry," he demanded. "Tell me what the hell happened? Laura wiped at her face and finally spoke up. "My date thought I didn't need to know about his girlfriend-until she showed up she said, her voice shaking. "I would have been a convenient fuck in a parking lot." Then she walked past Josh to my room.
I couldn't understand why Josh was suddenly so interested in Laura's life. "Why do you suddenly care? Actually, dumb question. You don't care about anything other than your little football career and your next conquest.' I was angry, not at Josh, but he just ended up being a convenient target.
Later that night, I walked down to the kitchen for a glass of water, still reeling from the conversation with Laura about the asshole who thought she'd be fine with being used.
My brother and Luke had eventually gotten out of the pool and I guessed the girls stayed over because their car was still parked outside. Jealousy crept up my spine, and I hated it. I had no reason to be jealous - Luke wasn't mine. Hell, Luke was being Luke. Why it affected me now, I had no idea.
I downed the glass of water and leaned over the kitchen counter, closing my eyes and trying to steady my emotions. I
couldn't believe I was feeling this way
But the idea of Luke having sex with that cheerleader got under my skin.
I took a deep breath and opened my eyes, trying to shake off the feeling. I was just tired, that's all. It was late, and I was just emotional.
I turned around to head back upstairs and yelped in surprise when I saw Luke standing in the shadows. He wasn't wearing a shirt. The only item of clothing on his body was a pair of boxers that hung very low and did very little to hide the bulge beneath.
I could see the outline of his abdominal muscles forming a solid V-shape that disappeared beneath the waistband to another outline. My throat went dry as I stared at him, my mind racing.
"Don't you have a cheerleader to get back to?" I asked, trying to sound calm and nonchalant, but my voice came out shaky.
Luke only smirked at me, his eyes glinting with amusement. "Jealous?" he asked, taking a step closer and then another until he was right on top of me.
I shook my head, trying to clear it of Luke. "No, I'm not jealous," I lied, my voice barely above a whisper.
Luke leaned in closer, his warm breath sending shivers down my spine. "You're not jealous?" he repeated, his voice low and husky while his thumb traced an invisible line over my bottom lip and down my jaw to my neck.
I swallowed hard, pulling away from his touch. He had a cheerleader upstairs. Hell, he was probably down here looking

for water because he had just fucked her senseless, and he's dehydrated or something. I can't stay here and be this pathetic girl who's willing to take whatever she can get.
I pushed past him, trying to escape the intensity of his gaze. But his bare torso brushed against my arm, and I felt heat spread across me. Why did he have to be so... attractive? We'd grown up together for crying out loud. I should be immune to Luke! Luke caught my arm, his fingers wrapping around my wrist. I stood very still. "Did you touch yourself today, Jessica?" he whispered, his breath hot against my ear.
My heart skipped a beat as I felt my face flame up.
yanked my arm free, "Let go," I breathed, my voice barely audible over the pounding of my heart.
For a moment, we just stared at each other, the tension. between us crackling like electricity. Then, without another word, I turned and ran up the stairs, leaving Luke and his ridiculous question. 17 at wher
