Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1398

Jackson was the only one who truly understood that the girl who woke up was like a playful little tiger. Her teeth were sharp, and she was full of energy, but not in a way that got under anyone's skin. Jackson crouched down gently, taking in her serene, sleeping face. His

eyes traced the line from her thick, lush eyelashes to her soft, pink lips. Jackson felt his throat tighten, his heart turning into mush.

...

At school, the whole Louise situation seemed wrapped up, but it was really just a ticking time bomb. Take the girl who took the fall for Louise, for instance. Her parents, after hearing about their daughter's expulsion, weren't having any of it. They couldn't wrap their heads around the idea that their daughter could do such a thing. So, they made quite the scene outside the principal's office, yelling as students passed by.

The principal, with a furrowed brow, stepped out and faced them. The girl's mom immediately started crying, begging, "Please, sir, my daughter is innocent. She's just a kid. What's she supposed to do without school?"

Her father jumped in too, "Please, give her another chance. We know our daughter; she wouldn't do something like this."

The principal, still frowning, was stuck. He couldn't kick them out, but ignoring them wasn't an option either. Watching the students walk by, he cleared his throat and said, "It's not that I don't want to help, but your daughter admitted to it. What can I do? You say she didn't do it, but she confessed. My hands are tied."

He glanced outside again and added, "Arguing here won't help. You should be asking your daughter what really happened."

He thought he'd laid it out plainly,

hoping they'd catch on. He felt he'd done all he could. But the parents were still bewildered, and with his patience wearing thin, he eventually had to show them out.

Meanwhile, all the commotion wasn't lost on Louise. Even though she knew they wouldn't come after

her, she couldn't shake her

Just then, the girl came to find Louise herself. Her eyes were blazing with anger, her voice trembling, "You asked for my help, but you didn't say it'd end like this. I've lost my chance at school. You need to take responsibility, or I'm telling everyone."

Louise felt a surge of disgust but pushed it down. She coaxed, "It's not that I won't help, but I didn't expect Fiona to go so far. I'm innocent too. Coming to me won't help. You should go after her. If you handle her you'll be back in school in no time, and she'll do whatever you want." noveldrama

Seeing a flicker in the girl's expression, Louise leaned in, "Want a suggestion?"

The girl nodded, looking a bit lost. Louise smirked, her grin turning sly, "Kidnap her. Get a few people, lock her up, and scare her a bit. She's just a kid-what's the worst she could do?" Hearing this, the girl seemed captivated, almost as if under a spell, considering the plan.
