Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1394

"Rational analysis? You're just jealous of Louise," Sammy sneered. "Louise is gorgeous, comes from a good family, and Nash dotes on her. Why would she ever bother to sabotage Fiona? You're just twisting things maliciously!" Honestly, Sammy didn't think much of Fiona-a woman from the countryside. But since everyone in class seemed to adore her, Sammy kept her opinions to herself.

Louise sabotaging Fiona? Sabotaging someone from the countryside? What a joke!

"Alright, alright, we're all in the same class. No need to turn this into a spectacle for others to laugh at," someone interjected, trying to calm the situation. "Come on, let's drop it. Class is about to start; the teacher's coming." As the teacher approached, everyone scrambled to their seats.

In walked Mr. White, the chemistry teacher, a man in his mid-thirties with black half-frame glasses. He glanced around the room, noting Nash and his crew were still absent. His gaze landed on Fiona, who had become quite the topic after today's events. "Let's focus on the lesson and avoid any chaos. And some of you girls, don't think you can stir up trouble just because you're pretty and have fans following you around. It's embarrassing."

His words practically had Fiona's name written all over them.

"In life, everything has a cause and effect. If you don't provoke others, they won't provoke you. If someone does target you, perhaps you should think about why. It's a simple concept of action and reaction, which I'm sure you all understand." Fiona leaned back in her chair, her eyes fixed on Mr. White. As she listened, her gaze turned frosty.

Then, a cold smirk crossed her lips. Maybe he was the type who blamed women for their own misfortunes, suggesting it was their attire or behavior that invited trouble.

Just as Mr. White was about to continue, the door was kicked open with a loud bang.

Nash, lean but strong, lounged against the doorframe with that typical teenage arrogance. Tilting his head, he casually said, "Oh, sorry for being late, Mr. White." His apology was dripping with insolence.

Who kicks open a door when they know they're late?

Mr. White, visibly irritated, glanced over Nash and the group of boys behind him. Their casual demeanor only annoyed him further.

But given Nash's influential family, Mr. White knew better than to cross him.

"If you're late, just come in and sit down. Why are you standing there?" he snapped coldly.noveldrama

Nash, with his blue and white school jacket

his pockets, sauntered an air of defiance.

As he passed Fiona's desk, he hesitated for a moment, then

with a thud. The other boys quickly followed suit.

The boy in front of Nash had barely sat down when Nash tapped his shoulder. Turning around, confused, he was met with a light slap across the face.

It wasn't a hard slap, more like a playful pat, but in the silent classroom, it was jarringly loud.

The boy was taken aback. Why did Nash hit him?

"Nash... what was that for?"

"Oh, nothing, just testing something out," Nash said with a click of his tongue. "Turns out, a slap does make a sound." The boy was left speechless.

The rest of the class was stunned into silence.

Mr. White's face turned a shade of green, clearly showing that Nash's antics were a direct challenge to his authority!
